Yes. We have more than 3000 fertiliser blends on record and counting. Talk to us about your specific nitrogen (N), phosphorous (P), potassium (K) and sulfur (S) soil needs and we will create a tailored nutrient budget and tracking system.
Our fertiliser spreaders are independently tested and Fertcare-accredited under the Accu-Spread program. This process ensures we apply the fertiliser at the correct rate and evenly across the paddock. We also have nutrient tracking technology in each spreader that tracks which paddocks are spread and what nutrient is applied. A report can be emailed to the customer on completion of spreading, showing a coverage map of the farm.
Ag urea, also known as green urea, is treated with a urease inhibitor that reduces the nitrogen loss through volatilisation. If straight urea is applied to the paddock and you do not receive adequate rainfall there will be significant nitrogen (N) losses, resulting in decreased pasture growth. Trial results show that the use of ag urea significantly increases dry matter production and reduces the cost of dry matter grown, compared with straight urea.
Soil conditioners, like gypsum and agricultural lime are best used before you apply liquid, granular or blended fertilisers. Optimum soil health is an important part of healthy and productive crop growth.
The cheapest form of dry matter is your home-grown fodder. With help from our expert farm mapping services and agronomy team, we can maximise your pasture production and fine-tune your fertiliser nutrient budget to increase returns.
